The basics
Keno is simple: you pick how many numbers you want to play (called your "Spot"), then pick those numbers from 1 to 80. Every 4 minutes CT Lottery draws 20 winning numbers. The more of your picks that match, the more you win.
How to play, step by step
- 1. Pick your Spot. Choose to play 1 to 10 numbers (Spot 1 through Spot 10).
- 2. Pick your numbers. Choose from 1 to 80 — or ask for a Quick Pick and let the terminal choose for you.
- 3. Pick your wager. $1, $2, $3, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing. Bigger wager = bigger prize.
- 4. Pick how many drawings. Play the same numbers for 1 up to 30 straight draws.
- 5. Add Multiplier (optional). For an extra $1 per draw, multiply your prize by 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x or 10x.
- 6. Watch the draw. Numbers pop up on our in-store monitors every 4 minutes — you'll know right away.
